Andy Charneco and Deanna Pineda (as Cigarbox Planetarium) play mindfully autotune-less instrumental music. In the studio, they make use of a variety of instruments (see below), but live, the instrumentation is pared down to guitar, keyboards and a 1970s Univox drum box (which has been given the name “Carl Palmer”), along with some miscellaneous percussion.
Instrumentation on “Society of Rubber Cement” includes drums, glockenspiel, violin, theremin, melodica, stylophone, banjo, electric sitar, ukulele, trumpet and rare vocals by Andy.
